On September 7, Quality Brands Protection Committee of China Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment (QBPC)Agricultural IWG held an internal meeting in Xiamen, which was attended by the representatives from Syngenta, FMC, BASF and Corteva Agriscience.
During the meeting, the participants had in-depth discussions and exchanges on topics,including online IP protection in the agricultural field, current situation and industry strategy on Bolar exception in pesticide industry as well as planning police-business exchange meetings etc.. They also shared their successful experience in cracking down on illegal and infringement targets on internet platforms and defending rights against trade name infringement. The participants reached consensus on further strengthening exchanges on hot industry issues and promoting close cooperation among relevant member companies in the future.
