The Delegates of The QBPC Visited The Legislative Affairs Office of The General Office of The Development Research Center of The State Council

On March 6th, 2018, the research seminar on “Effective and Balance of Patent Protection” sponsored by the Legislative Affairs Office of the general office of the Development Research Center of the State Council was held in Beijing. QBPC was invited to take part in the discussion. Huaiyu Wang, director of the Legislative Affairs Office of the general office, chaired the meeting. QBPC’s chairman Jack chang, vice President of Michael Ding, chairman of the Patent and Innovation Committee Jun Deng, vice President Sen li, Peng lu, Executive Director Xin Yao and the four staff of the Legislative Affairs office, a total of 12 people attended the conference.

 

 

The patent system is one of the core systems to promote technological innovation and to promote the transformation and upgrading of manufacturing industry. Its specific content has undergone dynamic changes with the development of technology and economy. In order to promote a more open and inclusive patent system environment, especially in terms of patent protection and balance, the delegates put forward their own proposals and approaches for improvement to the conference organizer, hoping to create a more open, more inclusive and more innovative environment for the formation of China and the relevant international systems. The sponsor had a record of all proposals and comments made by the delegates, responded to the issues delegates raised and expressed to follow up some of the proposals.

QBPC has devoted itself to promoting continuous improvements of administrative and judicial protection for intellectual property in China and to enabling the judiciary to better serve guiding function of predictable and consistent judicial protection for intellectual property. This meeting reflects the explorations and contributions made by QBPC and its Patent and Innovation Committee for Chinese patent system.
