Intellectual Property Enforcement Skills Exchange Meeting with Shenzhen Customs

On April 18, the Quality Brands Protection Committee of China Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment (QBPC) held an online infringement identification training with Shenzhen Customs, which was moderated by the Jessica Li of Victoria's Secret & Co., QBPC Customs Committee Chair.


Representatives from Qualcomm, Deere & Company, PUMA SE, RIMOWA, Lacoste, KENVUE, Haleon, Imiracle (HK) Limited, EssilorLuxottica, SD-3C, CommScope, Colgate-Palmolive Company, Pigeon, SKF, Victoria's Secret & Co. made presentations on brand introductions, key points of counterfeit identification, tips for taking certification photos as well as case study of customs seizures. The meeting helped the relevant customs officials to understand the status of intellectual property protection and trademark infringement, as well as to improve their capabilities in identifying counterfeits and law enforcement skills.


180 frontline inspection and case handling officials from Shenzhen Customs and its affiliated Customs (Shenzhen Bay, Shekou, Meisha, Dapeng, Yantian, etc.) participated in the event.
