QBPC and IACC Sign MOU in Orlando, USA

QBPC representatives attended IACC Annual Conference from May 15 to 17 in Orlando, USA. On May 17, QBPC Chair Michael Ding and IACC President Bob Barchiesi signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to foster international cooperation in the protection of intellectual property rights as determined jointly by the parties.

Michael said that the MOU signing was another milestone for QBPC to reinforce her global connection and share best practice of IP protection in China globally. He looked forward to seeing more proactive engagement of brand owners with QBPC, and joint efforts by different stakeholders to work out more effective approaches to protect brands and improve IP protection awareness.

The conference brought speeches and interactive discussions that focused on topics such as Building Brand Protection Partners Internally and Externally, Elements of a Successful IP Prosecution, Brand Protection across Borders: A Conversation with E-Commerce Platforms, as well as New Technologies, New Threats, New Opportunities: AI & Brand Protection, etc.

QBPC had its booth in the conference and continued her global footprint. While meeting with senior leaders of member companies including Johnson & Johnson, Colgate-Palmolive Company, Haleon, Levi Strauss &Co., HUGO BOSS, LULULEMON ATHLETICA etc., QBPC representatives discussed how member companies could maximize the value of QBPC to their business. 

Collaboration with IACC as well as other reputable IP associations strengthen the bridge to communicate the efforts that QBPC has made in China to the international IP community. It is strategically crucial for QBPC to remain as an international communication bridge for IP-related matters between China and the rest of the world.
