On the afternoon of August 6, the Quality Brands Protection Committee of China Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment (QBPC) arranged a visit to UL Solutions EV battery and ESS testing laboratory in Changzhou. The laboratory was UL Solutions' first power battery testing center in the world, offering testing and certification service for batteries, high-voltage components, charging facilities, performance materials, as well as full-service functional safety advisory services and compliance services.
In his opening remarks, QBPC Chair Michael Ding affirmed the positive role that Member Open Day events play in improving mutual understanding and exchanges among QBPC members. The legal team of UL Solutions and the head of the Changzhou laboratory introduced the history of the company, the overview of Changzhou laboratory, relevant safety standards of certain products, and the importance of product safety to public safety. Over thirty representatives from law enforcement and judicial authorities, and QBPC member companies participated in the event.
