On October 12, QBPC Sports, Fashion and Lifestyle IWG workshop was successfully held in Shanghai. Moderated by Sports, Fashion and Lifestyle IWG Coordinator Esther Dong, the event focused on the rationality of third-party identification and the issue of "sellers" in infringement. Lizzy Cui from CHARLES & KEITH and case handling lawyer Changjie Chen were invited to share their experiences, and 29 representatives from 22 QBPC member companies attended the meeting on site or online.
Esther Dong first introduced the development of IWG activities and urged IWG members to join efforts and provide suggestions for effectively cracking down on industry infringement.

Lizzy Cui explained the challenges and relevant cases in identification services provided by third-party platforms especially their particularity, identity and status. Changjie Chen then elaborated on the rationality of third-party identification services as well as the identity and status of the platform in case of infringement. In Q&A session, the participants had a lively discussion on the litigation goal, main claims, concepts of identification and authentication, along with the challenges and response strategies for in-house counsels in the cases involving third-party platforms providing identification services.
