On Oct.22, QBPC Internet Committee and representatives from QBPC member companies visited Xiaohongshu Shanghai Office. They had an in-depth discussion over brand protection issues on the platform with Xiaohongshu brand protection team.
Xiaohongshu team introduced the process, channels, and targets of its infringement complaints handling system, as well as the proactive governance measures against infringement, such as the control of brand qualifications and store qualifications, the treatment that combined technical means with manual review on infringing goods and live broadcast, and the introduction of third-party organizations to conduct product quality testing.
Internet Committee Chair Annick Wang introduced the portfolio of QBPC and issues of general concern to members. The representatives also discussed with the Xiaohongshu team issues such as the information disclosure process for personal account involving infringement, the authority for third-party identification, selling counterfeit goods through sham campaign or misleading, and the penalizing mechanism for repeated infringement.
