On September 5, a group of QBPC leadership members were invited to meet with the Global Security Team of Novo Nordisk at its Beijing Office. HU Zhan (The LEGO Group), QBPC Government Affairs and Public Policy Committee Chair, and representatives from the QBPC office joined the meeting in person. QBPC Vice Chairs - William Mansfield (ABRO), JI Ying (Johnson & Johnson) and Kelvin Liu (Qualcomm) attended virtually.
The leadership members gave a detailed introduction of QBPC’s history, organizational structure, areas of focus, key projects as well as planned activities for the rest of 2023. The Global Security Team of Novo Nordisk shared the key issues they had in IPR protection and the new infringement trends they encountered, which would be explored further with relevant QBPC Committees and IWG members.
