On March 19, the Quality Brands Protection Committee of China Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment (QBPC) Toys and Licensed Goods IWG held the Second IWG Lunch Meeting in Shenzhen. 11 representatives from six member enterprises attended the meeting both online and offline.
The participants discussed 2024 work plan of the IWG, and preliminarily proposed visits to the centralized markets of the industry and cooperated with law enforcement authorities to carry out market cleaning in the key areas. In addition, it has also determined to organize joint training activities with other IWGs for customs enforcement officers on product authenticity identification. It is believed that the above-mentioned series of work would enhance the attention and influence of IPR protection, and assist law enforcement authorities to treat the infringements in the industry and severely crack down on the production and sale of counterfeit goods according to laws and regulations.
