On April 24, the Quality Brands Protection Committee of China Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment (QBPC) Internet Committee organized a visit by members to Douyin Beijing office and interacted with the Douyin e-commerce IP protection team.
The host introduced the history, rights protection tools, ruling system and monitoring means of Douyin e-commerce IPR protection platform and explained in detail the working mechanism of its official rights protection platform (IPPRO), active prevention and control as well as case cooperation. The two parties discussed the issues of concern to the brand owners, including the examination of short video content used to attract flow, the identification of brand authorization materials, the examination of store qualification, the protection of portrait rights, the assistance of case application and the mechanism of store access/exit, etc.
